MOTORCYCLE MINISTRY
Credo Dominus
what is credo dominus?
Credo Dominus is a Motorcycle Ministry, “MM” for short. Okay so that doesn’t really answer the question but it gets us started.
My name is Ian Buck, I’m a biker. Once I was a biker, then I was a biker that happened to be a Christian and now I am a Christian that happens to be a biker. I have been sharing the gospel in the motorcycle community and in general life for many years. Recently I made the decision, I believe on the leading from God, to make this more formal by starting the Motorcycle Ministry, Credo Dominus.
Credo Dominus is a Christian organisation that exists outside of but is supported by the church. Its mission is to preach the gospel to the motorcycle community first and the wider community second and to provide spiritual support to bikers when they need it, be that through prayer, providing counsel or just listening and being a friend without any judgement. Credo Dominus is Latin for “I/We Believe”. Despite using Latin in the name it is for want of a better term “reformed credo baptist” although I prefer the term “bible believing”.
So is Credo Dominus a Motorcycle Club?
What Credo Dominus is not is a MC or MCC, it is also not a CMC (Christian Motorcycle Club) and does not pretend to be any of those things. Motorcycle ministries have a structure like these things, officers, a president who is most often lead evangelist because they are still bikers and operate on that side of motorcycling. However it is first and foremost a ministry and the focus is on Christ. Motorcycle ministries are not better than anyone else and should not expect people to operate according to Christian morality unless those people are professing Christians. At rallies you will see me smoking cigars and drinking, but you won’t see me getting drunk or partaking of narcotics or weed. I have tattoos, I have fun and I love riding motorcycles. The ministry is under the umbrella of Credo Dominus Ltd, a charity registered in Scotland.
So in a nutshell, Credo Dominus is for bikers who love Christ and we want to share the hope of the gospel with others, I don’t try to do it by stealth, I am completely up front by what I am about, and I am all about God. I am not perfect or infallible, I am just a biker with a particular outlook, come and have a chat with me next time you see me at a rally or event or just out on the road, you may be surprised.
Support the work.
Credo Dominus relies on the support of faithful people who recognise how important this work is and want to contribute.
There are multiple ways you can contribute to the work, first and foremost you can pray for the ministry, second you can buy some merchandise from the online shop or give a donation, third you can become an Gospel Partner. Credo Dominus needs people willing to do one or any combination of these things and anything you are willing to do is gratefully received. Please tell anyone you know who may want to be part of this ministry.

“I am the way the truth and the life”
The Way to the Father
1 “Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me. 2 In My Father’s house are many [a]mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. 3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also. 4 And where I go you know, and the way you know.”
5 Thomas said to Him, “Lord, we do not know where You are going, and how can we know the way?”
6 Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.”
The Righteousness of God through Faith
21 But now the righteousness of God apart from the law is revealed, being witnessed by the Law and the Prophets, 22 even the righteousness of God, through faith in Jesus Christ, to all and on all who believe. For there is no difference; 23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, 24 being justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus, 25 whom God set forth as a propitiation by His blood, through faith, to demonstrate His righteousness, because in His forbearance God had passed over the sins that were previously committed, 26 to demonstrate at the present time His righteousness, that He might be just and the justifier of the one who has faith in Jesus.
